PRIVATE 8 DAYS MARRAKECH TOUR AROUND MOROCCO

Day 1: Marrakech

We will pick up you at the airport in Marrakech. This will be a free day to visit the city. Marrakech is surrounded by the High Atlas Mountains and was built by Abou Bakr, head of the Almoravids in 1062 when his cousin built the first Mosque there along with the first houses and planted palm groves. The city was built with wood from the forests of the Atlas, the blue stone and sand.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

Today we depart to the south -from the village of Ait Ourir the road narrows to cross the pass Tiz n Tichka at 2260 metres where we will climb through the valley of the Wadi Tamesnar. We will visit World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village with beautiful crenellated towers, one of the most beautiful in the region.

Day 3: Ouarzazate - Dades Valley Gorges - Todra Gorges

Today we discover Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, with a stroll through the oasis with its lush vegetation. From here we will drive to Dades Gorges. After Boulmane, which opens between the banks of the Dades, we will follow a road marked by kasbah’s and palm oasis and we will reach Tinghir partly surrounded by a palm grove where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Todra Gorges - Merzouga desert

Today we will visit Todra Gorges. The walls reaching 300 m in height. After visiting this spectacular landscape we will drive to the town of Tinejdada to reach the ksar Touroug, surrounded by a beautiful oasis. Shortly after we will enter the palm Jorf we will move onwards to Merzouga where you can find the best dates in the country. Ahead of you now appears the desert, dunes with their fine golden sand. We will spend a night in comfortable desert hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga- Camel ride - Night in Desert Nomad Camp

Today you will have opportunity to discover Merzouga area, and also nearby villages.

We will spend the night in the desert, travelling by camel across the great dunes. You will enjoy dinner at desert camp -bivouac with traditional Berber music.

Day 5: Merzouga area - camel trek & activities

Today you will again camel trek in dunes , exploring area , oasis ,and you will have many opportunities to spend this day with different activities (sand-boarding,sand-bath..). In the evening we ride our camels back to Merzouga ,where we spent a night in comfortable hotel.

Day 6: Merzouga - Ouarzazate

Today we departure Merzouga to Alnif, further through the Draa Valley (164km) discovering numerous villages and oasis’. After passing through Agdz, we cross the Djebel Saghir with its amazing heart shaped dunes, and we arrive in Ouarzazate where we spend this night.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We will dicover Ouarzatte city (movie studio) and then we return to Marrakech via the Tizi n Tichka pass through the heart of the Atlas Mountains. You will have a dinner at the famous Jamma el Fna square.

Day 8: Marrakech - Airport Transfer

Time for relax , shopping before we transfer you to the airport .
