PRIVATE 3-DAY MARRAKECH TOUR TO DESERT IN MERZOUGA AND BACK




Day 1: Marrakech -  - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley/Gorges


We will pick you up from your (hotel/riad/bus station/airport) and begin our excursion to Dades Gorges. We will go across the beautiful Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with panoramic views of the mountains, to the typical High Atlas Berber settlements, and then to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, where you will have lunch. Then we'll go to Ouarzazate to see Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studios. Then we will proceed to Dades gorges via flowers and Dades valley, where we will spend the night in a riad/hotel.


Day 2 : Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges -  Erfoud - Merzouga desert


After breakfast, we travel from Dades gorges to Merzouga's Erg Chebbi desert. Berber villages are scattered along the way, and we'll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where we'll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we'll continue to our hotel in Merzouga, where you'll take some of your luggage in a small bag (required for the night in the desert) and leave the rest in the hotel, and then we'll ride camels This is an excellent opportunity to photograph the sunset and sunrise. After arriving at the camp, we will dismount the camels and proceed to the tallest sand dunes for sandboarding and to watch the sunset before spending the night in a desert camp (Berber nomad tents) with drum music in the midst of the Sahara.


Day 3: Merzouga - Atlas mountains - Marrakech


We will wake you up early in the morning to view the dawn in the dunes, and then we will ride the camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower in the hotel, we begin our journey back to Marrakech via various locations and Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, N'kob) till Ouarzazate, where we will travel the same route back to Marrakech, where we will arrive in the evening/night.
